Wally was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Besides doing a total maintenance job, he showed me how to perform some of the basic maintenance tasks on my Navien tankless hot water heater. He also showed me some additional features I could add to the heater to improve performance. Thank you Wally!

My entire HVAC system died recently after 23 years of use. I reached out to TDH and Wally came out within a day to provide a replacement quote. The quote was easily the best I saw across several contractors. I agreed to move forward and Wally and his team replaced our entire HVAC system the next day. The system is working great and the work was impeccable. They also helped with an unrelated issue in my basement, which shows how they're great people in addition to being great with HVAC! I previously utilized TDH's services for a prior condo I used to own when I needed my furnace replaced. Needless to say, I needed to utilize their services again to replace my furnace and central air for my current condo and was not disappointed. Because I had to travel out of State, they made an exception for me to install both on a Saturday at a specific time I needed to be present at the condo. The process of buying new furnace and AC unit and having it installed could not have been better! Installers were so efficient and left the area clean when the job was completed.

I use TDH for my personal and rental properties. They are family owned and honest. Also, you’ll find their pricing can’t be beat.

Firstly, there is consistency. TDH techs are all good. But having the same one for 15 years is outstanding. Wally has installed our furnace, tankless hot water system, radiant heating in floor and ceiling. Secondly, the work Wally performs not only is outstanding but the details in laying out the radiant system is a thing of beauty. Shows the care that TDH puts into their service. Thirdly, is consulting on complex projects - TDH (Tim and Wally) did great work in consulting on the design. Few in Chicago would even quote on our needs for a tankless hot water and radiant heating. All of the recommendations worked out perfectly. For service Jacquie is always responsive - and on the few times over the years we’ve needed service she has been fast and very communicative. Highly recommend TDH for any HVAC needs.

Fantastic service, competitive pricing, impeccable workmanship

Great experience with installation of a new multi-zone mini split system (with lines on brick work in a tight space) and water heater. Work was done super clean with basically no debris, and looks super clean and professionally installed. Was super understanding of working with animals in the house. Also went the extra mile in installation without being asked to (but did prompt to confirm), for things like lifting the water heater to drain it, cleaning up existing water lines, and adding air redirection on top of the neighbors outdoor AC to make sure the air doesn't get trapped under the deck. You do pay a bit more for the service, but it's worth it to pay a little more up front to not have to worry about it for the next couple of decades.

Wally and Jesus at TDH spent three days installing coils and condensers for central air conditioning in the front apartments of our 1880s building. They solved some tricky spatial and technical issues along the way. The price was more than reasonable and the best of the quotes we received. The office staff even sent someone to pick up a check when my bank fouled up the final payment. Highly recommend from bidding process to installation and accounting.

TDH Mechanical installed the HVAC system in our home twenty years ago before we even owned the house. When it was time to replace the equipment this year they were a very easy choice as they have been a very reliable and steady company. No question I would recommend them.

I could not recommend Wojtek enough. He's now installed our mini split system and replaced our boiler. Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable, and I trusted him right away. We needed a new furnace in the middle of a very cold winter. Figured we'd get taken advantage of IF we found someone who might fit us into their schedule. Turned out that we simply got timely and quick service at a normal and very price. The installers were very polite and considerate, barely disrupting our routines, if at all. They installed the new equipment beautifully, got rid of the old equipment painlessly, and even made sure we got our gas company rebate and an extended furnace warranty!

Very satisfied! Kevin came out on short notice, just 5 hours after I called for an appointment and exactly when he said he’d arrive. Quickly diagnosed our problem, and after a short trip to get parts completed the repair efficiently and cleanly. A genuinely nice guy who knows what he’s going, we were very happy.

Installation of a Navien combo boiler unit and all of the configuration piping that comes with it to replace our old unit. The servicemen were very knowledgeable, set expectations properly, explained the setup of all the technical and non-technical questions I had. The pricing was fair without any hidden fees at the end. Wally and his Co-Worker (sorry, name just slipped my mind), were hired to replace a 50+ year old Boiler and Piping -- this was not a job for the faint of heart -this was a BIG JOB: However, this Team: Top of-The line - their synchronicity and attention to detail really stood out( kind of like poetry in motion) -IMPRESSIVE - completely changed the look of the whole basement - definitely for the better...
